A DC Court has ruled against the FDA over the revealing of information about the health benefits of vitamins and food supplements. The case involved selenium and cancer; but it could have far reaching implications.

Meh I can go either way There are already too many people making faux "science" claims to sell their products ... the FDA just came down too hard on the ones that made reasonable claims of things still being investigated

   The main thing is that it limits the ability of the FDA to classify all claims with the standards applied to drugs. People can evaluate for themselves if they`re benefiting.

They could always do that Presenting scientific studies was never prevented, the problem is that people make claims that are beyond the limits of the studies in order to sell whatever it is they are selling.
